Summit’s elementary school provides a comprehensive academic program with a biblical worldview. We guide our students towards excellence where they are challenged through traditional and non-traditional methods of teaching and learning. Our goal is to instill, at this early age, a passion for learning and developing leadership through Christian living.

​In order to achieve these goals, we carefully select curriculum that will develop both academic and spiritual growth.  For most of the elementary subjects, we are using the Bob Jones University curriculum.  “BJU Press provides educational materials written from a biblical worldview that focus on academic rigor and encourage critical thinking—all supported by appropriate educational technology.”

Our Bible curriculum is created by Purposeful Design (ACSI). This curriculum “provides multiple opportunities for students to choose to follow Jesus and develop a personal relationship with Him. Students will learn how to apply biblical truth to their lives as they memorize Scripture and learn about Christlike character.”

God has given our teachers and staff a love for our elementary students, understanding that they are in the process of maturity and set on a path to serve the Lord.
